Two kinds of departure

Manhattan tours depart from the Downtown Manhattan Heliport at Pier 6, a subway ride from most hotels. Many tours also leave from New Jersey airports such as Linden or Essex County, flying in to the Manhattan skyline.

Getting there

Pier 6 is reachable by subway. New Jersey airports usually need a car, rideshare or train-plus-taxi, so budget extra time and transport cost. Some tours include ground transfers — only when the listing says so.

Fees and time in the air

Some Manhattan departures add a heliport facility fee on top of the ticket; New Jersey departures may not. New Jersey tours spend part of the flight crossing to Manhattan, but some include longer total air time. Compare flight minutes and the starting price side by side in our comparator.
